How are rising electricity costs and growing energy demand reshaping the Philippine solar market? At Solar & Storage Live Philippines 2026, the answer was visible across every conversation, project discussion, and business meeting taking place on the exhibition floor.

Sunpal Solar successfully participated in Solar & Storage Live Philippines 2026, held from May 19–20 at the SMX International Convention and Exhibition Center in Manila. Located at Booth 2-L15, Sunpal showcased its latest solar and energy storage technologies while connecting with installers, distributors, project owners, and commercial energy users from across the Philippines and neighboring Southeast Asian markets.

As one of the region's leading renewable energy exhibitions, the event created a valuable platform for industry professionals to explore the latest developments in photovoltaic systems, battery energy storage solutions, and hybrid power applications. For Sunpal, the exhibition became an important opportunity to better understand local market demands and strengthen cooperation with potential long-term partners.

Strong Demand for Commercial and Hybrid Energy Solutions

Throughout the two-day event, Sunpal's booth attracted continuous visitor traffic, with many customers focusing on commercial solar systems, battery backup solutions, and scalable hybrid energy projects.

Several discussions revealed the increasing demand for medium- and large-scale commercial installations in the Philippines. Some visitors were exploring rooftop systems for multi-floor commercial buildings with limited installation space, while others were seeking hybrid solar and storage systems for factories, schools, and industrial operations.

Sunpal's technical team introduced a range of products and integrated solutions, including:

  • High-efficiency TOPCon and HJT solar modules
  • Residential and commercial lithium battery systems
  • Hybrid and off-grid inverter solutions
  • Containerized battery energy storage systems (BESS)
  • Customized commercial and industrial solar systems

One visitor discussed plans for a multi-story building project requiring approximately 20kW per floor despite limited rooftop space, highlighting the growing importance of high-efficiency solar technology in urban applications. Another customer showed strong interest in a 199kW PV system paired with over 200kWh of battery storage for commercial energy management.

Battery Storage Becomes a Key Market Focus

A major trend observed during the exhibition was the rapid increase in interest surrounding battery energy storage systems. Many attendees were no longer focused solely on solar generation, but also on improving energy stability, backup power capability, and long-term operational savings.

Sunpal received inquiries for a wide range of applications, from 20kW off-grid systems for small businesses to large commercial hybrid solutions exceeding 500kW with integrated containerized storage systems.

Several professional installers and engineering companies attending the exhibition were already operating grid-connected projects and were actively looking to expand into larger commercial and industrial energy storage applications. Discussions frequently centered on system scalability, installation support, product reliability, and long-term return on investment.

The Philippine market's growing demand for hybrid systems also reflected increasing concerns about grid reliability and rising electricity prices, especially in commercial sectors requiring uninterrupted power supply.

Building Long-Term Partnerships Through Technical Support

In addition to product displays, Sunpal's participation emphasized the company's commitment to technical service and long-term customer cooperation. Many visitors showed particular interest in installation guidance, after-sales support, and customized project solutions tailored to local application environments.

Several customers shared plans to expand into solar distribution or installation businesses, while others discussed future school, commercial rooftop, and industrial energy projects currently under development.

Sunpal's ability to provide integrated solar-plus-storage solutions, combined with fast delivery capabilities and flexible customization services, received positive feedback from visitors throughout the exhibition. The company's experience in supporting both residential and large-scale commercial projects also helped strengthen confidence among potential partners.

Expanding Opportunities in Southeast Asia

The successful participation at Solar & Storage Live Philippines 2026 further reinforced Sunpal's growing presence in Southeast Asia's rapidly expanding renewable energy market. With abundant solar resources and accelerating clean energy investments, the Philippines continues to offer significant opportunities for photovoltaic and energy storage development.

Moving forward, Sunpal will continue focusing on advanced solar technology, intelligent energy storage solutions, and localized customer support to help meet the region's evolving energy demands.

Sunpal sincerely thanks all customers, partners, and industry professionals who visited Booth 2-L15 during the exhibition and looks forward to building stronger global partnerships through future renewable energy projects and international industry events.
